Maxwell Scott Hageman
Max has been playing gigs since he was 14 years old. With being in and out of several bands, it was time for him to try something new. “I wanted to create something where everyone could enjoy themselves . I view music as a bridge to connect the gap between myself and people…no matter how old they are. There is always a song or artist to talk about. That is the power of music.” Max came up with the “Relax With Max” idea in 2018. Since then, he has played over 500 shows at countless different breweries, bars, restaurants, patios, fairs, festivals, and other types of events.
Max has always been interested in music and instruments. “My dad got me started with music at a very young age. I remember being 6 years old dancing around my room to artists like Elvis all the way to Rob Zombie…haha. I can’t tell you how many concerts he has brought me and my brothers to over the years, but it’s more than I can keep track of. The most influential concert to me was AC/DC in 2008. Seeing Angus Young live in person really made me want to play seriously”. Since that day on, that’s all he could think about. His grandpa bought Max his first real guitar for Christmas when he was around 8 years old. This opened the gates to a whole new world filled with chords, rhythms, solos, and infamous riffs.
